WILLIAM FREDERICK PARKER William "Bill" Parker of Kitchener, Ontario, 74, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. Bill Parker, Son of the late Frederick and Loraine Parker, Brother to Donna Weir, loving Father of Michael and Laura Parker and Father- in-law of Erin Wilson, proud Grandfather of Lucas and Tanner Boivon, Eric Parker (Melissa Di Giambattista), Brittney Wilson and Uncle of Cathi Parenti and Lesley Hoyt, will be missed dearly by his family, his close friends and his loyal companion Miss Kitty. Bill served over 30 years with the North York Fire Department. He will forever be remembered as a man of bravery and courage and one who was always willing to fight the good fight, whether that was in a flaming building or in his later years, with his own health. Bill had always found great joy through caring for animals, tennis, cycling and fitness. As well, he really focused on bettering his mind and knowledge through meditation, cooking classes and most importantly through his own poetry. Bill wanted to ensure that he will be remembered as having: "A poetic heart." A true gentleman may have left this life, but he will forever live on in the hearts and lives of those close to him. A memorial for Bill will follow in the New Year for his family and friends.
