LEIS, William Peter- Winged his way to heaven Friday, April 13, 2012, in his 80th year. He passed away at his home in Waterloo where he wanted to be, surrounded by his wife, family & friends. He is survived by his wife and love of his life, of 28 years Patricia (Steffler) Leis. Son Keith and Grace, daughter Kathryn and Lawson Willis. Grandchildren Kim and Rob McLellan, Adam and Andrew Willis. Great-grandchildren Sarah and Avery McLellan. Brothers; Elmer, Norman, Douglas, Bruce, and sister Barbara McConnell. Predeceased by his grandson Kevin Bruce Leis, parents; Allan and Martha Leis, brother Murray and sister Marjorie Clemens. Sadly missed by Robert and Sue Steffler, special son Steven and Anita O'Connor, special friends Henry and Linda Brick, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Bill was a retired Superintendent of roads for the City of Kitchener after 38 years of service. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 10 a.m. till time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Zion Presbyterian Cemetery, Wellesley.
