SPIELMACHER, Viola L.-Passed away peacefully at Winston Park Long Term Care, Kitchener, on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the age of 94 years. Viola previously lived in St. Agatha and was predeceased by her husband Serf (1996). Loving mother of Linda Hergott (Tony), Sharon Stevens, and Donald (Mary Ann). Dear Nan of Sandra Sichewski, Brenda McCarthy, David Small, Lisa Dobson, Donna Ewasiuk, Steve Spielmacher as well as many great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in law Pat Rumig. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Barbara (Lorentz) Rumig, sisters and brothers Marie Frickey, Hubert Rumig, Lorretta Ditner, Colletta Buck, Allen Rumig, Frank Rumig Sandra Spielmacher and Brenda Spielmacher. Viola loved her cats and enjoyed watching birds, gardening, canning, and cooking on her wood stove. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 1839 Notre Dame Drive, St. Agatha on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Father Mariusz Durbajlo officiating A private family celebration of life and interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
