ERB, Velma (Zehr)- Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2016 with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred J. Erb who passed away December 31, 2007. Loving mother of Jeanette (David George) of Marietta Georgia, Margaret (Jim Rudy) of St. Clement's and Paul (Melissa) of Milverton. Dear grandmother of Matthew (Estee) and Aaron George, Trevor (Chantal), Crystal and Corey (Jessica) Rudy and Kayden and Bentley Erb. Dear great-grandmother of Brody, Mikayla and Joshua Rudy, Alice Rudy and Amelia George. Survived by her sister Verna Jantzi, brothers-in law Stanley (Doris) Erb and Lloyd (Jean) Erb and sister-in law Elaine Erb as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Chris K. and Margaret (Bender) Zehr, her sister Vera (Jantzi) Kuepfer, brothers-in law Joseph Jantzi, Daniel Kuepfer and Ezra Jantzi, father and mother-in law Norman and Clara Erb, and brother-in law Ralph Erb. Velma was a faithful member of Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Friends can call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
