HILKER, Teresa "Tracy" nee Sherrer.
Passed away suddenly at Barnswallow Place Care Community on Friday October 13, 2023 at the age of 61. Tracy was born on August ,12 1962 and grew up in the small town of Linwood. She marched to the beat of her own drum right from the get-go. Anyone who knew 'Fred', knew she had a zest for life and playful spirit. She had been on many different adventures in her lifetime, but her most treasured adventure of all was when she became a mother. Tracy will be sorely missed by her daughter Sarah (Sandy) Mills, and her two cherished Grandbabies Simon and Ruby. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Joan Sherrer. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Dave (Ingrid) Sherrer, Stephen "Chip" (Mary Ellen) Sherrer, Cindy (Jim) Reid, Paul (Kathleen) Sherrer, and many nieces and nephews. Tracy had spent the last 11 years living in Stratford with her beloved dogs 'Bugg' and 'Snoop' before moving back to Elmira to be closer to Sarah. She always made friends wherever she went and will be missed by many. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tracy's life at Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. Wellesley, on Tuesday, October 17 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Linwood on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 11am. Father I. Koziak SAC officiating. Special thanks to her friend Sharon, and the staff at Barnswallow Place for their care and compassion over the last few months.
