DOWER, Sydney Charles- Loving Husband, Father, Poppa and Great Poppa D, Uncle and Great Uncle went home to be with His Lord and Saviour on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Sydney is predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Norma Dower (nee Cook), and survived by his daughters, Bethany (Eric) of Wellesley and Joan (Jerry) of Palm Desert, CA. Adoringly remembered by his grandchildren, Jon, Caitlin (Noah), Beckei (Brandon) and Jenny (James) and great grandchildren Max, Kase, Lauren, Charli, Jack, and Finn, Morgan and Madison. He was an honourary Dad-Dad to Lisa Brown (Mitchell). He will be dearly missed by his surviving sisters, Drue and Doris and his brother Menzie in addition to many members of the extended Dower & Cook families. We honor dad's wishes to spend his money on the poor and not on a funeral. Private Family interment, and a celebration of life will be held for extended family at the Aplin home in the fall. Interment to be held at Memory Gardens 2723 Victoria Street, Breslau, Ontario.
