Obituary

HOFFELE, Steven Charles-Passed away unexpectantly on October 28, 2026, his journey ended doing what he loved most, riding his motorcycle. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Erb). Loving father of Kirstie (Connor Gerber), Kelsey (Nick Jantzi) and Isaac Hoffele. Dear pops of Hazel, Baylor, Sawyer, Cooper and future Grand babies to come.

Lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his family, especially his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews.

Steve, affectionately known as Sven was a hardworking man of few words with a heart full of kindness, warmth and love. He was always willing to lend a hand. As a dedicated truck mechanic, he took pride in his work. His love for motorcycles was second only to his love for his family.

He cherished his roles as a husband, dad and pops sharing wisdom, laughter, and countless special moments with his family. His memory will live on in our hearts until we meet again.

Visitation will be held at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchison Road, Crosshill, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. Pastor Darcy Dueck of Citizens Church in Hawkesville will officiate. Interment to follow at Rushes Cemetery, Wellesley. If desired, donations to Canadian Blood Services would be appreciated.
