KUEPFER. Ruth Elizabeth (nee Schmidt)-Peacefully on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at the Village Nursing Home, Hanover. Ruth Elizabeth Kuepfer of Habermehl Lake in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Clendon Kuepfer who predeceased her on January 12th, 1987. Loving mother of Patti & her husband Mike Johnston of Hanover and their children Chris & Amanda Johnston and their sons Morgan & Max of Warman, Saskatchewan, Amanda Johnston & Mike Schmidt and daughters Kinsey, Rylee, Zack & Gavin of Kincardine, and Megan Johnston of Listowel; Rob & his wife Renee Kuepfer of Kitchener and their son Cody Kuepfer and fiancee Dominique Orth of Tavistock; Kelly Kuepfer-Crane and her husband Jim Crane and children Isaac, Rachel, Elaine, Melanie & Jamie of Kitchener. Dearly missed by her sisters Mary & her husband Bruce Brenneman of Tavistock, Eva Schneider of Stratford, Norma & her husband Vernon Brenneman of Gads Hill Station, Jean & her husband Lloyd Erb of Wellesley, inlaws Norm & Wilma Kuepfer of Linwood and Matz Kuepfer of Kitchener. Dear friend of Annie & Henry Wiebe of Warman, Saskatchewan. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Nick & Emma Schmidt, in-laws Don Schneider, Milt & Eva Kuepfer, Eugene Kuepfer, Millie & Ivan Zehr. Friends may visit with the family at Poole Mennonite Church, 6475 Perth County Road 121, Poole, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
