Kebick, Ruth Eleanor (née Hornsby) January 10th 1935 – October 14th 2017- Peacefully with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Thomas Kebick for 54 years. Loving and devoted mother of Darcy (John), Karina (Guy predeceased), David, Joline (Paul) and Jonathan (Maryam). Grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and "Buddy". Sister (twin) to Joy (Don) and sister to Karen (Dave predeceased). A dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 57 years Ruth exemplified the notion, "Be a woman who dares to live; who dares to be informed; who dares to build up rather than tear down; a woman who has developed the art of being as delicate as a flower, yet as strong as a tall oak. When each of us comes to die, let us hope people will not say of us, "Isn't too bad she died" but rather, "Isn't it wonderful she lived". A profound thank you to the Hamilton General Hospital staff. Friends may visit Tuesday, October 17 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 345 Highway #8 Stoney Creek. Funeral to be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
