STEINMAN, Roy-Peacefully on Thursday, July 22, 2021, surrounded by family, Roy of Woodstock in his 83rd year. Beloved father of Judy Steinman (Tom Wright), Tammy (Gerry Spachman) and Kevin (Crystal). Dear grandfather of Christopher, Jeff, Kayla, Carlee, Tatum, Declan and Mitch. Sadly missed by his sister Bernice Wagler, brother Orval Steinman (Judy), Elverne Jantzi, Beatrice Klein (Frank), brother-in-law of Ron Gerber, Anna Mae Steinman as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clayton Steinman and Nancy (nee Erb), stepmother Violet (nee Jantzi), brother Floyd, sister Marie Gerber and brother-in-law Mahlon Wagler. Roy was a retired long haul truck driver retiring from Wesbell Logistics. He enjoyed volunteering at the New Hamburg Thrift Store. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Covid protocols dictate the wearing of masks and social distancing. A limited number of people will be allowed entry at any given time. A family service will be held at Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley on Monday, July 26, 2021, followed by interment at Rush's Cemetery. Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating.
