KAPASKY, Ross Nestor

June 29th, 1931-September 2nd, 2026

Ross Kapasky, age ninety-five, of Waterloo, Ontario passed away September 2nd, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was predeceased by his cherished wife of sixty-seven years, Suzanne. Ross will be lovingly remembered and missed by his daughters, Linda, Brenda (Ken) and Sandra, his grandchildren, Karsen, Scotia, Emma and Matthew and by his great granddaughter, Charlotte. Ross was raised as one of six children in Mimico, Ontario and he began work at a tender young age in order to help support his family. He maintained that strong work ethic throughout his life, building a career in the bread industry in order to provide an exceptional life for his wife and children. Ross was a very happy and positive person who loved to entertain and cook delicious meals for friends and family. He was an entertaining singer who enjoyed serenading those around him, with his renditions of old country songs.

Ross’s family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of the Parkwood Mennonite Home who provided such incredible care to him for the last three years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
