McFaddin, Robert-Robert John McFaddin, aged 70, passed away suddenly at his home on December 21, 2023. Born on June 23, 1953, in Waterloo County, he resided and worked on the family farm in Wellesley Township. He worked briefly at Jones Feed Mill in Linwood before returning to the farm. He loved working with machinery, growing crops and raising livestock. Robert enjoyed researching new advances in farming, attending farm shows and ploughing matches. He always took many detours on his drives to monitor the progress of crops, or to simply observe and enjoy the changing countryside.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Helen (Voll) McFaddin and Wilbert McFaddin. He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Deborah (James Kay) of Stratford, William (Corey) of Waterloo, Douglas of Cincinnati, Connie Gonsalves (Hammond) of London and James of R.R. 1 Millbank. In his role as uncle, Robert will be missed greatly by his nieces Sarah McFaddin (Jon) of Conestogo, Darcy McFaddin (Logan) of Halifax and his nephew Nathan Gonsalves of London.

Following cremation, friends and family are invited to attend visitations on Wednesday, January 3, at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley between the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Our family looks forward to honouring Robert's life by sharing special memories and stories. On January 4, 2023, a private family service will take place with interment to follow at Knox-Wesley United Church Cemetery, Millbank.
