EDWARDS, Robert David-On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at WRHN at Queens Blvd, Kitchener, Robert of Baden in his 53rd year. Robert was born as a special needs child to the late Carol Daley (Edwards) and her husband the late George Daley. He is survived by his sister Elissa Gajewski (Leo), brothers Wayne Daley (Tamara) and Chris Stettner (Annmarie). Robert is survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces. Robert had many families to care for him. In his early life, he was fostered by the late Andy and Mabel Steckly and their children, the late Diane Steckly, Sharon Horst, Donna Nafziger (Rick) and Gary Steckly (Deb). In the early 2000's, Robert joined the Aldaview Services family where he made many friends with the residents and staff. He participated in many of the activities there. He was also part of the Wellesley Mennonite Church family. He enjoyed going to Tim Hortons and McDonalds. Many friends would take him out for coffee and lunch. He loved to sing and listen to gospel music and hymns. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Wellesley Mennonite Church, 157 David Street, Wellesley at 10 a.m. till time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Rush's Cemetery. Donations to Tri-County Mennonite Homes (Aldaview Services) in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
