Rafaqat Bibi passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, with family at her side at the age of 69 years. Predeceased by her husband Jalal Masih (1990). Born in Pakistan, she was the daughter of Charagh Masih and Mehraah Bibi.
She was one of nine siblings, the seventh child in her family. She grew up surrounded by love and later became a wife in 1982. Together, she and her husband, Jalal, were blessed with three children: Mona, Amir, and Kamran.
In 1990, her husband passed away. As a widow in Pakistan, she worked hard and raised her children on her own. She provided for them with strength, courage, and unconditional love.
Mona and Akram Masih are blessed with 5 daughters, Mirab, Michal, Mishall, Anna and Mia. Amir and Farah Jalal are blessed with 2 daughters, Sharon and Leah, and 2 sons Jeremiah and Jireh. Kamran has yet to marry. Her children and grandchildren were her pride, her happiness, and her greatest accomplishment.
In 2013, she was forced to flee Pakistan because of persecution for her faith in Jesus Christ. She endured many hardships in Thailand, yet she never lost her faith or her hope. In 2022, with the help and kindness of others, she finally reached Canada.
Her entire life was marked by strength, perseverance, and unwavering trust in God. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was courageous, faithful, and full of love.
We honor her life and her legacy.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
May she rest in peace.
