ZEHR, Norman L-Passed away suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, November 17, 2023, Norman of New Hamburg and formerly of Stratford and Brunner in his 98th year. Beloved husband of Amy (nee Nafziger) for over 73 years of marriage. Loving father of Ken and Debbie, Roger and Beth, Pauline and Paul, Leasa and her friend Dave, and Rebecca. Dear grandfather of 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Norman will be sadly missed by his brother Elmer and Ethel, sister-in law Alma Zehr, brother-in law Ohmer Jantzi and daughter-in law Debbie (Glenn Holst). Predeceased by his parents Moses and Fannie (Lichty) Zehr, his son Gary (1987), brothers and sisters; John Zehr (Esther & Mary), Emma Wagler (Allan), Mary Gerber (Amos), Laura Jantzi (Elmer), Jacob Zehr and Esther Jantzi. Norman enjoyed working the family farm for many years in Brunner. Friends may call at First Baptist Church, 306 Erb Street W., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley. If desired, donations to First Baptist Church, Alzheimer's Society or Hermosa Campers Fund at Ontario Street Baptist Church, Stratford, would be appreciated by the family.
