Obituary

KUEPFER, Norman-October 22, 2023
On Sunday morning in his 96th year Norm went to reunite with his loving wife of 70 years Wilma, who he deeply missed for the past 18 months. He leaves behind 4 cherished Children and their Spouses Gwen and Gerald Neeb, Ross and Bev Kuepfer, Sheila and Mark Goodwin, and Grant Kuepfer. As well as 7 Grandchildren and their families - Michael, Ang, Alice, Edward, and Vivian Neeb; Christine, Mark, Wesley, and Roland Billard; Valerie, Curtis, Benjamin, and Zachery Schierholtz; Nick, Marlene, Norah, Hayes, and Earl Kuepfer; Michelle Kuepfer and Shaun Lacroix; Wade, Megan, Seth, and Jax Goodwin; Clay, Brittney, Lincoln, and Evan Goodwin. He will be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Harold and his wife Violet May Erb, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Parents Nicolas and Elizabeth Kuepfer; Father and Mother-in-law Moses and Mary Erb; Brothers Eugene (Madeline) Kuepfer, Milton (Eva) Kuepfer, Clendon (Ruth) Kuepfer, Sister Millie (Ivan) Zehr; Brothers-in-law Milton (Marjorie) Erb, Alvin (Annie) Erb, Sister-in-law Leona (Earl) Paddington; Nephews Oran Erb and Ron Zehr.
Norm was a proud, hard-working farmer for the majority of his adult life. He ate, slept, and breathed "the farm" which was his favorite topic of conversation during every visit while reminiscing about the "good old days". He instilled a strong sense of family devotion and work ethic in each of us. We will miss your smile, quick wit, keen sense of humor and colourful stories - but hold those memories fondly in our hearts and minds forever. We find ourselves "focusing our eyes around" searching for a sign that you made your final trip safely, where you are enjoying your reunion and happily tending farm on the other side. A private family celebration of life and interment of ashes will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated. Until we meet again – keep the checkerboard warm, love "the kids".
