BRENNEMAN, Norma Laurene (nee Schmidt)-Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2021, with family at her side. Norma of Gadshill, Ontario was in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Vernon for 60 years. Loving mother of the late Cheryl (2016) and Mike Weber, Bonnie and her husband Murray Zehr, Rose and her husband Calvin McCallum and Rick and his wife Kelly. Dear grandmother of Alex, Katie, Becky, Amy, Alden, Finn, Jake, Ally and their spouses. Great-grandmother of Tyson, River, Emmerson, Miles and Morgan. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Eva Schneider, Mary and Bruce Brenneman, Jean and Lloyd Erb, sister-in law Laura Nafziger as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Nick Schmidt and Emma Gerber, sister Ruth Kuepfer and her husband Clendon Kuepfer, brother-in law Don Schneider, sister-in law Norma Nafziger and brothers-in law Murray Nafziger and Maynard Nafziger. Norma loved blue grass music, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a kennel where she raised Labradors. She was an avid painter, enjoyed doing genealogy, playing cards and took time everyday to read the Bible. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. The funeral services will be held at Poole Mennonite Church, 6477 Perth Road 121 at 2 p.m. Pastor Fred Redekop officiating. Interment to follow at Rush's Cemetery, Crosshill. Donations to Sakura House, Woodstock would be appreciated.
