ERB, Milton D.-Peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, Milton of Wellesley in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Cook (2011). Loving father of Oran of Wellesley, Pauline (Joe Kuntz) of Waterloo and Brad (Barbara) of Millbank. Dear grandfather of Donna Kuntz, Heather (Malcolm Jasumani), TJ Poole (Samantha) and Kyra Poole (Kevin Wood). Great-grandfather of Maya, Holly and Tessa Jasumani, Destiny Streicher, Henry and Betty Poole and Quentin Wood. He will be sadly missed by his brother Harold Erb (Violet), sister Wilma Kuepfer (Norm), brother in-law Siebert Cook and sister in-law Vera Schiffle as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Moses Erb and Mary Steinman, his brothers and sisters; Leona (late Earl Paddington), Eva (late Milton Kuepfer) and Alvin Erb (late Annie). Milton was self employed and was in the building trade for 42 years. An avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Conestogo Lake where he water skied till he was 80 years old. As a hobby, he spent many hours doing wood carving and sold many at the ABC and Blyth Festivals. Our homes are filled with his carvings and will serve as a memory of dad. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1 p.m. Pastor Fred Erb officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to Cardiac Care at St. Mary's Hospital or the Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
