HEHN, Michael Leopold (1934-2025)
With heavy hearts we announce Michael's passing on Friday, August 8, 2025, in his 91st year after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his caring wife Bertha (Kuntz) of 62 years. His loving family Steve (Tammy), Larry (Candace), Linda Faucher (Richard) and Murray (Amanda). Cherished Papa to Adam, Nicole, Nathan, Chantelle Splane (Jaden), Naomie Hehn, Victoria, Olivia and Emily Faucher. His dear siblings brother Jim and sister Margaret (Doug Weber), his sister-in law Rita Hehn, and many caring nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents Isadore and Florentine Hehn. Brothers Sylvester, Francis and sisters Agnes Kieswetter, Mary Hehn, Audrey Waechter, in-laws Doreen Hehn, Mel Waechter, Alvin Kieswetter and Shirley Hehn. Remembered by the Kuntz family for his fun-loving ways with many laughs and good conversation.
Growing up on a farm in Culross Township near Formosa. He worked many long days in the fields. Also raising livestock was a real passion of his in his early years.
Mike worked in construction most of his working years and was a member of Local 1081. He enjoyed many good games of checkers and crokinole as well as puzzles on cold winter days. He loved gardening and always proud of his raspberry and potato crops. He will be missed by many friendships made at many auction sales.
He was a dedicated member of St. Clement church and a faithful usher for over 50 years.
Papa leaves many Happy memories of family weddings, milestone anniversaries especially their recent 62nd and most of all his 90th Birthday celebration with family and friends. Our grateful thanks to staff at WRHN @ Queens Blvd 5th floor and the 3rd and 4th floor of WRHN @ Chicopee. You truly are angels with your attentiveness and care. Thank you to Father Tracey, Father Alek, and Father Irenaeus Koziak for prayers received.

Visitation will be held at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3619 Lobsinger Line, St. Clements on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. Father I. Koziak officiating. Interment in St. Clements Catholic cemetery.
