FRIEDMANN, Mary Margaret (nee Morrison)-Peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 22, 2022, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Philip Friedmann (2002). Loving mother of Carolyn and Geoff Sheridan, Phyllis and Dave Freeman, Kenneth Friedmann, Luanne and Paul Dunbar and Gwen and Kim Beacom. Proud grandmother of William (Songwon), Christine (Jason), Joseph (Stephanie), Brent (Lisa), Melanie (Michael), Tori (Connor), Scott, Jessica, Jason, Ashley, Chad and Ben. GG to Dorrian, Rylee, Charlie, Scarlett, Joslyn, Jack, Isabelle, Frederick, Alessi and Harvey. She will be sadly missed by her in-laws Phonsine Morrison, Mary Reid, Frank Friedmann, Ed Friedmann as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James Morrison and Marie Morrison (nee Sullivan) and her brothers Joseph (Rose), John, Jim (Lena) and Vincent Morrison, a sister in infancy as well as many in- laws, nieces, and nephews.

Mary was born in Dublin, Ontario and grew up with four older brothers.
Mary became a school teacher before she was 20 and continued that career for over 30 years. Through a friend she met her husband of 41 years, they moved to Linwood and raised their 5 children. Mary was sweet, kind and quiet, with a fun-loving adventurous side and truly enjoyed being surrounded by laughter. Family & friends were always welcome for a wonderful home cooked meal and a game of cards.

Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7- 9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 1043 Isabella Street, Linwood. Father Meyer officiating. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Macton. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or Hospice Waterloo would be appreciated.
