Obituary

LYMBURNER, Margy (Nina Marguerite)-Passed into her eternal heavenly home at 98 years of age on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Freeport Hospital, Kitchener. Margy resided at Morningside Retirement Village in New Hamburg. She was predeceased by her husband Al Williams who was killed in action in 1943 and by her beloved husband Glenn in 1991, and by her sister Grace Pond (nee Hanna) in 1998. Loving mother to Debbie (Bruce) Sawatsky of New Hamburg and Paul Lymburner of Bowmanville. Dear Grammie to her grandchildren, Daniel Sawatsky (fiancée Alannah Eby), Stephen Sawatsky, Erin (Dustin) Yantzi, Matthew Sawatsky, Elisabeth (Matthew) Farlymn, Judith (Paul) LeBlanc, and Jessica Lymburner. She was Gi-Gi (great-grandmother) to Everleigh and Bauer Yantzi and Zephaniah, Lydia and Zechariah LeBlanc. Margy will be greatly missed by her nieces, Gayle (Walt) Matthies, Betty (David) Lindsay and Judy (Roy) Knibb and their families. Also left to mourn are her sisters-in law Jean Lymburner and Joan Lymburner, nieces, nephews as well as many friends. Margy had been an active member at Knox Presbyterian Church in Dunnville as well as a long-time faithful member of the church choir. In recent years she was a committed adherent of Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Margy was passionate about her faith, her music, and her many relationships. She enjoyed receiving and reflecting upon relationships represented by the many birthday, Christmas and get-well cards she continued to receive. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Maple View Mennonite Church on 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley. Visitation will continue on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 12:30 till 1:30 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 223 Lock Street W., Dunnville, followed by the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Dunnville.
Donations can be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Gideons International, and Freeport Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
