RETTINGER, Margaret Lorraine-Passed away peacefully at the Waterloo Regional Health Network and Midtown, Kitchener on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in her 96th year. Margaret was one of 12 siblings, born to the late Seraphine Schmidt and Rose (nee Goetz). She was the mother of 6 children and will be sadly missed by her son Lloyd, who lived with her at Barnswallow Place in Elmira. She was also a grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo, solo and baking the best shortbread cookies. Margaret was a faithful member of St. Clement Catholic Church in St. Clements. A graveside service will be held at St. Clements Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 3 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Barnswallow Place. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Clement Catholic Church would be appreciated.
