HOFFMAN, Lloyd C.H.-On Saturday, June 18, 2016, Lloyd passed peacefully with Loretta Lynn's "Peace In The Valley" playing softly, surrounded by family at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Kennell). Will be sadly missed by his children; Robert Lichti (Ronda), Shirley (Darrell Ropp) and Carolyn (Jeffrey Mueller). Dear grandfather of five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and predeceased by two grandchildren, and will be missed by his sisters-in law Lynne Hoffman, Barb Kennell and brother-in law Alvin Kennell. Predeceased by his parents Harvey Hoffman and Ruby Doering as well as his brother Frank Hoffman (1999). Lloyd was a faithful member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley. He served as an Elder for 18 years and as the Chairman of the First St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. He was the former owner of Lloyd Hoffman Ltd. (sand and gravel), a member of the local tractor club and will be remembered for his timeless stories. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3620 Nafziger Road, Wellesley from 9:30 till 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the church at 11 a.m. Pastor Andy Schroth officiating.
