MONAHAN, Lisa E.-It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lisa Ethel Monahan on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Loving daughter of Wendy Lewis Peters (the Late Donny Peters) and Glyne Monahan. She leaves behind her partner Bill Filkin and her three children; Jesi Monahan, Tyler Monahan and Alicia Filkin. Beloved sister of Michelle Monahan, Tanya Monahan (Brian), Glyne Monahan (Michelle), Tara Palermo (Pete) and Troy Monahan (Tanya). Will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her grandfather Jim Lewis. Lisa is gone to be with her grandma Ruby, grandma Beauchamp, her uncle Chris Lewis and Wayne McIlmoyle. Friend may visit with the family at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 345 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
