JANTZI, Katie (nee Jantzi).-Passed on to her eternal reward, surrounded by family at the Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Katie of Nithview Community, New Hamburg and formerly of Wellesley in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Aaron L. Jantzi (2015), with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage. Predeceased by her parents Menno L. Jantzi and Susan (nee Nafziger). Loving mother of Marilyn (David Gerber) of Millbank, Kathy (Murray Gerber) of Wellesley, Sandra Erb of Wellesley, Bruce Jantzi (Ruthann) of Ukraine, Susan (Larry Ropp) of Lucknow and Robert Jantzi (Anne) of Wellesley. Remembered by 25 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, her sister Laurene (Floyd Kuepfer), sisters in-law; Elmina (late Elmer N. Jantzi), Katie Wagler (late Aaron N. Jantzi and late Solomon Wagler), Mary (late Leonard N. Jantzi), Nancy (Amos Martin) and Emma (Nick Gerber). Predeceased by brothers, sister, brothers and sisters in-law; Samuel N. and Katie Jantzi, Claytus N. and Fannie Jantzi, Ezra N. and Katie Jantzi, Nicholas N. and Mary Jantzi, Norman N. and Laurene Jantzi, Amanda and Emmanuel Gerber, Harvey N. and Katie Jantzi and also by one great-granddaughter Morgan Jantzi. Katie was a faithful member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral services will be held at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, 4831 Deborah-Glaister Line, Wellesley on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
