LINDNER, Jean (nee Martin)-Peacefully at the Stratford Rotary Hospice on Saturday, March 7, 2020 ,Jean of Wellesley and formerly of North Easthope Township at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of 64 years to George Lindner (2016). Loving mother of the late Karen Beatty (1992), Byron and his wife Sharon, Brad and his wife Cathy. Dear grandmother of David Beatty, Matthew Beatty, Andrew Lindner (Marie), Robin (Brad Louwagie), Ben Lindner (Amber), Jordan Lindner (Cora), Zach Lindner (Kathleen) and Kate Lindner. Great-grandmother to Alivia, Laura and Makalya Louwagie, Maisie Lindner, Austyn, Corbin and Sloane Lindner, Duncan Lindner and Darwin Lindner. She will be sadly missed by her sister Lorna Lichty and brother-in law Bill Lindner (Ruth). Predeceased by her parents Lorne Martin and Mabel Darroch, brother Alvin Martin and two brothers in infancy. Jean enjoyed the lady's groups at St. James Lutheran Church and all the quilting projects that they did. She spent many years with George and raised her family in North Easthope on the Lindner homestead until they retired to Shakespeare in 1987. After passing of George, Jean moved to Pond View where she enjoyed the activities and socializing with other members of the community. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street Wellesley on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1998 Line 45 (corner of Road 106), Gadshill on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
