MONKLEY, James "Jim"-Suddenly at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, May 18, 2014, Jim of Hamilton in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Parsons). Loving father of Leanne (Matthew Traplin) and Andrew Monkley (Sue). Dear grandfather of Kara, Abby, Erin and Calum. He will be sadly missed by his twin sister Joyce Madore, sisters, Ruth Collis (Larry), Grace Garrett and brother, Joe Monkley (Sherry). Predeceased by his parents, Ernest Monkley and Laura (nee Strong) and siblings, Jean, Fred, Gerald, Ernest, Georgina and Earl. Jim will also be missed by his many card playing friends at numerous churches and at the Navy Club. He adored spending time with his grandchildren. Jim was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he will be remembered by many for his faithful visits. Friends may call at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 345 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the church on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton.
