Obituary

NEEB, Irene Elmina (nee Doering) of Wellesley,Ontario. The love of Irene's family provided a sense of calm as she was surrounded in her final moments on May 6, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. This same comfort is what Irene provided to all of them throughout her 95 years of life. Treasured wife of the late Walter E. Neeb (1987). Loving mother of Carol Doucette (John Mowbray) of Conestogo, Ruth Leeson (Bill) of Waterloo, David (Paula) of Wellesley, Ron (Marjie) of Stratford, Elmer (Grace) of Wellesley, Gerald (Gwen) of Blyth, Shirley Roth (Ray) of Gadshill and Ken (Judy) of Floradale. Dearest grandmother of Holly Schnider (Chad Bader), Dana Leeson (Luke Mepham), Guy Neeb (Lauren Dietrich), Jason Neeb (Bernadette Cormier), Kim Klenot (Aaron), Matt Neeb (Jaime), Melissa Legere (Terry), James Neeb (Lisa), Jennifer Downs (Mark), Michael Neeb (Andrea), Christine Billard (Mark), Trisha Bell (Craig), Suzanne Vatnar (Gunnar), Katie Dunn (Brad), Sarah Neeb (Mike Plantz), Ryan Neeb (Michelle Timmins), Robert Neeb (Jussara), Alana Krause (Rob) and Sarah Mowbray. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren; Devin, Samantha, Avery, Georgia, Cassidy, Kinsley, Taylor, Kaytlin, Carson, Jackson, Aiden, Isabelle, Carter, Alice, Edward, Maddison, Kristine, Myles, Lily, Lucas, Luisa, Fiona, Grayson, Austin and Tyler. Predeceased by her parents Edwin and Edna Doering (Wettlaufer) and by her sister Hilda Guenther (Lloyd), brother Roy Doering (Blanche), sister-in law and brother-in law Hilda and Gordon Berg. Mom's priority was her family, her church and her community. A modest woman with quiet strength, Irene afforded endless support and generous love for her family while living a full life. Irene will be forever adored. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1123 Henry Street, Wellesley, from 2 p.m. until time of the Celebration of Life at 3 p.m. Pastor David Hammer officiating.
