KUEPFER, Ian G. Peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, at the Stratford General Hospital on Friday, January 12, 2024, just two days before his 82nd birthday. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Jantzi). Loving father of Linda and Mark Jantzi, Larry and Bernice Kuepfer, Glenn and Miriam Kuepfer, Sandra and Kevin Gerber, Anita and Keith Gerber, Darryl and Susan Kuepfer, Delford and Debbie Kuepfer, Harold and Michelle Kuepfer, Sharon and Norman Miller, Shirley and Roger Cressman, and Sheryl and Brendan Leis. Dear grandfather of 51 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Roy Kuepfer, Elsie Steckly, Clara and Norman Lichty, Reta and Albert Kuepfer, MaryJane and Donald Jantzi and his brother-in law Kenneth and Bernita Jantzi. Predeceased by his parents Allan and Clara (Gerber) Kuepfer, sister Erma and Mervin Zehr, sister-in law Barbara Kuepfer and brother-in law Aaron Steckly. Ian loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed playing games. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. at Faith Mennonite Church, 1533 Chalmers Forrest Road, Wellesley. The funeral service will be held in the church on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The funeral service will be live streamed and the link will be placed on the funeral home website. The ministry of Faith Mennonite Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Northern Youth Programs, Faith Mennonite Church or Stratford General Hospital would be appreciated.
