Runstedler, Henry Louis - Passed away, peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2024, after a brief stay at St. Mary's General Hospital. Henry was born in Linwood, Ontario almost 85 years ago. Eldest and beloved son of the late Ephraim Runstedler and the late Bertha Voll. Loving brother of Joseph and his wife Doris Runstedler, Earl and his wife Tami Runstedler, Robert and his wife Bonnie Runstedler, all of Linwood, Elizabeth Runstedler of Kitchener and Anne Runstedler of Linwood. He was a patient and dependable uncle to Brandy and her husband Carl Juergensen, Travis Runstedler and his wife Lori, and Heather and Darryl Runstedler. Cherished great-uncle of Jillian, Evan and Cale (Kali) Juergensen. Special friend to Bernice. Predeceased by a brother, Carl (1974) and a nephew, Jason (1972). Henry was a man of few words but a man of deep thought and knowledge, with a great interest in history and current events. In his heyday, Henry was the egg farmer of Wellesley Township, and throughout his life he was a member of St. Mary's RC Church in Linwood. As a retired farmer, he later enjoyed gardening, feeding his cats, and occasionally raising chickens. His pumpkins were always an autumn hit with his neighbours and his great-nephew. Cremation has taken place and, at Henry's request, a private family interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Carmel of St. Joseph will be appreciated by the family.
