SHOESMITH, Gloria May (nee Whitehead)-Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 21, 2023, Gloria of Dundas in her 83rd year. Beloved and Eternal wife of Kenneth. Loving mother of Paul (Lorelie), Diana (Andrew Taylor), Martin (Andrea), Dean and Amanda (Mike Bateman). Dear grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Laurel, Faith, brother Gerry as well as the Shoesmith family. Predeceased by her father Joseph Whitehead, mother Mabel (nee Carson) and brother Kenny Whitehead. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 383 Main Street E., (at Emerald St.), Hamilton at 12:30 p.m. A family interment will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
