ERB, Franklin J.-Peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Stratford Rotary Hospice. Franklin of Wellesley in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Jantzi). Loving father of Mary Jane (Glenn Nafziger), Brenda (Ronald Poole), Kristine (Del Johnston) and Robert Erb (Kim Heinmiller). Dear grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters; Arnold Erb (Annetta), Marjorie (Mervin Roth), Helen (Henry Streicher), Jean Ann (Cam Jutzi), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Erla Frey, Jean Kelterborn, Darlene (Paul Onika), Lorne Steckley, Norma Kuepfer and Laurene Pentlebury. Predeceased by his parents John and Frieda Erb, brother Glen Erb, brother-in-law Lenard Frey, Delford Jantzi, Mervin Kuepfer and sister-in-law Mary Steckley. Frank and Jean were married in 1972 and he lovingly took on four children, fulfilling his wish to have a family. Frank and Jean were faithful members of Crosshill Mennonite Church. Friends may visit with the family at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchison Road, Crosshill on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the church on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Maple View Mennonite Cemetery, Wellesley. Pastor Norm Dyck officiating. Expressions of sympathy to the Stratford Rotary Hospice would be appreciated.
