PRIESTLY, Esther (Doering)-Peacefully surrounded by family at the Rotary Hospice Stratford, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the age of 105 years. Predeceased by her husband Howard Doering (1978) and Bill Priestly (2008). Loving mother of Barbara Green and her husband Doug MacDougald. Dear grandmother of Lisa Lavender (Chris), Darrell Green (Tarra), Blaine MacDougald (Alison) and Clayton MacDougald (Justina). She will be sadly missed by her 8 great-grandchildren as well as her friends and staff at McCarthy Place in Stratford. Predeceased by her parents John and Almina Hohl, her sister Norma Doering (Earl) and her son-in law Don Green. Esther was an active member of the Wellesley community for most of her life. One might think that the death of a 105 year old would not come as a shock, but with every birthday Esther enjoyed, the more it seemed like the birthdays would just keep coming! Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3620 Nafziger Road, Wellesley from 10 a.m. till time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
