HOFFMANN, Erwin Henry-Passed peacefully with family by his side at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Erwin, formerly of Wellesley was in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Neeb (1989). Loving father of Joanne (Gary Stewart) and Bernice (Warren Bechthold) all of Petersburg and Terry Hoffmann (Lynne) of Kitchener. Dear grandfather of Jennifer, Colin, Craig, Ian, Andrew, Stacey, Leslie, Stewart, Benjamin, Ainsley and great-grandpa of ten. He will be sadly missed by his brother-in law Clayton Neeb (Marlene) as well as many nieces and nephews. Erwin was the son of the late John C. Hoffmann and Emma L. Dammeier. Predeceased by his sister Helen Otterbein (Lloyd), brothers-in law and sisters-in law; Vera, Nelson, Edward, Erma, Art, Sid, Wilfred, Marie, Wallace and Marie. Erwin was a loyal and dedicated member of the Wellesley community. He farmed in Wellesley Township, worked at the former Pauli Home Centre in New Hamburg and Beaver Lumber in Waterloo, a member of the Wellesley and District Board of Trade, Wellesley-North Easthope Agricultural Society, Junior Farmers, local 4H clubs and Owls Nest Carving Club in Waterloo. He was a faithful member of St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Special thanks to all his care givers. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1123 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. Following a time of fellowship and refreshment, interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
