Surrounded by family at St. Mary's Hospital Kitchener, on Monday, January 4, 2016, Erma (nee Roes) of Wellesley in her 84th year. Beloved wife of 62 years to William. Loving mother of Lorraine Guenther (Roy), Sharon McKay (David), Marlene Fisher (Dennis), Bruce (Ramona) and Brian (Sandi). Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by her brothers John Roes (Emmaline), Ivan Roes (Reta), Norman Roes (Sharon), brothers-in law Clarence Poole, Steve Gerber and sister-in law Ruby Roth. Predeceased by her parents Samuel N. Roes and Mary (nee Gascho), sisters; Ethel Poole, Eleanor Roes and son-in law Bruno Gliedt. Friends may call at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchison Road, Crosshill, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Rush's Cemetery, Crosshill.
