ROEDER, Elmeta Marion, December 19, 1915 – May 21, 2016. Elmeta peacefully entered her eternal rest at her home, Forest Heights Residence in Kitchener, Ontario. She was born 100 years ago in North Easthope Township, daughter of the late Clayton (1948), and Edith (1981) Roeder. Elmeta was predeceased by her sister, Violet (2006) and her brother-in-law, Austin Schmidt (1994). Cherished God-mother to Yvonne, and survived by her cousins. Elmeta was a life member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope Township. Special thanks is given to Elmeta's family of caregivers at Forest Heights, where she lived for the past three years. The loving kindness, and warmth, extended to Elmeta by all members of the Forest Heights team is greatly appreciated by the family. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Wednesday, May 25, from 3- 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1998 Line 45 (corner of Road 106), North Easthope on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
