JANTZI, Eleanor Catherine-Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2016 at home in Little Harbour, NS. Mom was born on April 6, 1929 in Glen Allan and lived in Wellesley and KW most of her life. Predeceased by her parents Katie (Runstedler) (1978) and Vincent Walter (1979); husband Allen E. Jantzi (1979); son-in-law Joseph Baumann (June 2015). Mother of three daughters Linda, Durham; Brenda (Bill Fisher), Elmira; Sandi (Deb Kyle), Little Harbour. Lovingly remembered by grandsons Matt (Tara), Todd and Joe Jr. Baumann, Cambridge; Bob Fisher, Waterloo; granddaughter Melissa Fockler, Elmira. Fondly remembered as "GG" to great-granddaughters Ashley Baumann and Raven Fockler. Mom will be missed by sister Rita (Pat) Pieper and brother Bill Walter. Predeceased by sisters Mary Faulhafer, Florence (Flossie) Cormier, Theresa (Tiny) Goodwin, Lorraine (Nicky) Dietrich and brother Joe; brothers-in-law Edgar Faulhafer, Harold Goodwin, Bob Dietrich, Charlie Pieper; and sisters-in-law Betty and June Walter. Special thanks to all VON Homecare and Nursing Staff for their humour and kindness while attending to mom at home. Your compassionate care will always be remembered.
