LINDNER, Edward Henry-At Heritage House, St. Jacobs, on Thursday, February 5, 2015, Edward entered peacefully into eternal life and is now united with his wife Doris (nee Hammer), who he so dearly missed and who predeceased him on July 2, 2013. Edward was born on October 18, 1920 and raised his family on the farm in North Easthope. He was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope Township and was very involved with church offices His faith in Jesus Christ and enjoying devotional time up to the last days was very important to him. Our devoted Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children Albert (Marilyn), Yvonne Shaw, Fred (Christine), and by his grand and great-grandchildren; Steven (Laurie) with Rachel and Camden, Laura (Shaun), Trevor (Laurie) with Logan and Claire, Crystal (Anthony) with Franklin, and Julie (Colin) He is survived by his brothers and sisters; George (Jean) and Bill (Ruth), sisters in-law; Ruby Lindner, Vera Lindner, Doreen Baan and brother in-law Stan Player. He was predeceased by his parents; Andrew Lindner and Freida (nee Koehler), brothers and sisters; Margaret (Koellner), Wilfred, Milton, Laurine (Player), Andrew, Austin and Conrad. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 10 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 445 Anndale Road (at Lexington), Waterloo followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Pastor James Brown officiating. Spring interment will be held at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in North Easthope. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lutheran Hour Ministries or Christ Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
