NAFZIGER, Edna-Passed away peacefully to her eternal home on Sunday, April 21, 2019 in her 84th year at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. She was born in Wellesley Township on December 5, 1935. Daughter of the late Noah and Fannie (nee Jantzi) Gerber. Edna was the beloved wife of Maurice Nafziger who predeceased her on November 9, 2014. They married on September 2, 1959 enjoying 55 wonderful years together. Dear mother of Elizabeth (Ray) Gerber, Sandra Weber, Pauline (Bryan) Huber and Larry (Cheryl) Nafziger. Lovingly remembered by her 11grandchildren Kyle (Tracy) Gerber, Kaitlyn Gerber, Kendra (Dallas) Roth, Donovan Gerber, Lynnette Weber (fiancé Jacob Dettweiler), Keith Weber, Matthew Weber, Nicholas Huber (friend Vanessa Gerber), Alyssa Huber (friend Trevor Kuepfer), Emily Nafziger, Nolan Nafziger and her 2 great-grandchildren Greta and Felicity Gerber. Survived by her sister Mary Ellen (John) Steckly and her brother Joe (Sharon) Gerber, sisters-in-law Laura Nafziger, Norma Nafziger, Madeline Kuepfer and Marion (Nick) Callwood. Predeceased by her son-in-law Arnold Weber, sister Esther Wagler, sister-in-law Shirley Gerber and brothers-in-law Norman Wagler, Maynard Nafziger, Murray Nafziger and Norman Kuepfer. Edna loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Maple View Mennonite church where she served Him in service to others. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed making articles for her family as well as for relief. She was a hospitable homemaker and enjoyed having people in for meals and fellowship. She along with her husband Maurice dairy farmed for 39 years before retiring to Milverton. She volunteered at Gospel Echoes Ministry in Millbank. Friends may visit with the family at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the church on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Donations to C.A.M. would be appreciated.
