FORREST, Edith Catherine (nee Lupton)-Born June 17, 1930, Stratford. Died January 12, 2019, Milverton. Peacefully with family by her side at Knollcrest Lodge. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Forrest (2017). Loving mother of Grace Oesch (Ivan), Irene Lantz (Lorne), Alex and Murray (Lynne). Dear grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brother Ron Lupton (Sandy) and her sisters Agnes Quast, Annabell Thomson, Beatrice Chafee, Jessie Hahn (Sheldon), Phyllis Wilhelm (Jim), Bonnie Lupton, step-brother Wilf Barnett (Mary Jane) and step-sister Betsy Gradwell (William) as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ronald Lupton and Annie (Gibb) Lupton, Father and Mother-in-law William Forrest and Helen (Chalmers) Forrest, brother Fraser Lupton, brothers-in-law John Thomson, Ken Wilhelm, Robert Chafee and Art Quast. Edith was a member of Burns Presbyterian Church in Milverton. She had worked in banking, at Cleaver Brooks, Hudsons, Stratford Times, Beacon-Herald and on the farm. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Burns Presbyterian Church, 66 Main Street N., Milverton on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Marc Fraser officiating. Spring interment at Hampstead Cemetery. Special thanks to the PSW's that cared for Mom at home and all the compassionate and loving care she received at Knollcrest Lodge.
