BOELLING, Eberhard
Passed away peacefully in his 90th year, on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, following a brief illness. Eberhard was the devoted husband of Ann Boelling. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Eric Boelling (Janet), Helen Fowler (Michael) and Chris Boelling (Danielle), and his seven grandchildren.
Born and raised in Germany, the son of Dr. Eugen Boelling and Erna Boelling, he immigrated to Canada in 1955. Eberhard married his wife, Ann, in 1964 and lived most of his life in St.Catharines, where they raised their family. He worked for 40 years at CE Tyler, never taking a sick day. He was an active leader with the 22nd Boy Scout troop, passionate about the outdoors, and retained a playful sense of humour until the end.
A private life celebration will be held at a later date.
