FINK, Douglas Edward-
On Friday, June 14, 2024, Douglas Edward Fink, 73, of Bamberg, with his wife by his side, slipped out of this world to meet his drinking buddy Keith, who has been patiently waiting for him with a glass in hand. Douglas leaves behind his wife of 48 years Valerie (Hartung). He was a very proud father of Jeffrey (Pam), Tanya (Huw), and Kristopher (Trish). His adored grandchildren Aiden, Emma, Jackson and Carter. Cherished brother-in-law of Rose Edwards, Theresa Hartung, Paul and Lynn Hartung and Dale and Deb Hartung.
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Dorothy Fink, brothers Ernie (1980) and Ken (1982). Parents-in law Nile and Frances Hartung and brother-in law Keith Hartung who left us suddenly two months ago. Uncle Buck will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Doug worked at Koch Transport for many years then joined Erb Transport until his retirement in 2016. He was a member of the New Hamburg Legion, Branch 532 and the Greenwood Rod and Gun Club.

As per Doug's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at the Greenwood Rod and Gun Club, 2752-2440 Regional Rd. 12 (Notre Dame Drive) St. Agatha, Ontario. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
