LINDNER, Doris Edith-Born in Tavistock on January 31, 1922 and passed away on July 2, 2013 at Heritage House in St. Jacobs. We say good bye to the earthly and hardworking journey of the loving and devoted wife of Edward for over 65 years, and to our mother who taught us the importance of having faith in our Lord Jesus Christ; Albert and Marilyn, Yvonne, and Fred and Christine. Wonderful grandmother to Laura (Shawn), Steve (Laurie), Trevor (Laurie), Crystal (Anthony), and Julie (Colin). Proud great-grandmother to Rachel and Camden, step-grandmother to Doris, Evi, Ben and a step-great grandmother to Logan. Sister in-law to Vera Lindner, George and Jean Lindner, Stan Player, Ruby Lindner, Doreen and Jerry Baan, and Bill and Ruth Lindner. Predeceased by her parents; Conrad and Emilie Hammer, sister Pearl (Grant) Miller, brother Clifford Hammer, brothers and sisters in-law; Margaret and Earl Koellner, Wilfred and Marie Lindner, Milton and Helen Lindner, Laurine Player, Andrew Lindner, Austin Lindner and Conrad Lindner. Ed and Doris farmed in North Easthope Township. As a woman of faith, Doris held on to strong values, she was a member and taught Sunday school for many years at St. James Lutheran Church. Friends may visit with the family at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Thursday from 3 p.m. till 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 445 Anndale Street, (at Lexington), Waterloo, on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place at St. James Lutheran Cemetery in North Easthope. Donation to Christ Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Hour would be appreciated by the family.
