WAGNER, Elizabeth "Betty"-nee Busch.
June 26, 1944 – September 24, 2017
Passed peacefully at her home in Wellesley. Loving wife of Wilbert (Wib). Dear mother of Michael (Carrie), Peter, and Julie (Andre Pankiw). Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Katherine, Lucy, Gwyneth and Meredith, her brother Jacob Busch, sister Mary Busch and brother-in law Norman Herteis. Predeceased by her parents Anthony (Tony) Busch and Rita (nee Lienhart) Busch, sister Patricia Herteis and brothers Joseph and Paul in infancy. Betty was a faithful member of St. Clement Roman Catholic Parish. Betty in her youth, sang in the youth choir and was a member of C.Y.O. A honourary member of the Christian Mother's Society and served one term as President. She was a member of the Wellesley A.B.C. Festival committee and acted as mascot "Annie" in the early years of the festival. She was a great cook, homemaker, crafter and quilter. Betty, along with Wib, owned the Wagner's Garage in Wellesley for over 30 years with their son Michael until retirement in 2007, after being in Wagner family for 90 years. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, St. Clements on Friday September 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Rosary Prayers to be said at 9:45 a.m. Father Martin Mikulski S.A.C. officiating. Interment to follow at St. Clements Roman Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the St. Clements Community Centre following the interment. Donations to the St. Clements Roman Catholic Church Maintenance Fund would be appreciated.
