GASCHO, Anna Mae-Passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the age of 96 years. Anna Mae was born on July 26, 1928, and was the daughter of Michael B. and Mary (Bast) Erb. Beloved wife of Allen Gascho who predeceased her on September 20, 2005. They were married on September 28, 1949. Dear mother of Rosemary (Harold) Gerber of Kenabeek, Ont., Eleanor (Amos) Martin of Kenabeek, Ont., Ruth (Nelson) Gerber of Gadshill, Ont., Ronald (Betty) Gascho of Granville Summit, PA, Kenneth (Wendy) Gascho of Arthur, Ont., Miriam (Delmar) Gerber of Millbank, Ont., Barbara (David) Zehr of Millbank, Ont., and Sandra (Bradley) Bender of Hensall, Ont. She was a special grandmother to 42 grandchildren, 155 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters; Eileen Lebold, Lorene Shantz, brother; Lloyd (Laurene) Erb, sisters-in law; Leona Erb, Mary Gascho, brother-in law; Earl Wagler as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Michael B. Erb and Mary (nee Bast), 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters; Norma and Harold Zehr, Florence and David Gascho, Eva and Wes McKinnon, brothers; Lorne and Ruby Erb, Elmer and Adeline Erb, Nelson Erb, Brothers and sisters-in law; Ralph Lebold, Lowell Shantz, Edith Wagler, Mervin Gascho, Ivan and Doris Gascho, John Gascho, Diane Gascho, Elinor Gascho, Mahlon and Norma Bast. Mom was a faithful member of Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church in Millbank. She took an active interest in the lives of her family. We treasure the love and concern she showed in each of us. We as a family are thankful for the example and heritage she has left for us. Friends may call at Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship Church, 6449 Wellington Road 11, Dorking, on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Bethel Conservative Mennonite Cemetery, Millbank.
