RUDDERHAM, Allan 'Al'-Al Rudderham died suddenly at the age of 68 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Hette of 45 years, daughter Julia and sister Gail and brother-in-law Ken. He was predeceased by his parents Ken and Lorraine Rudderham. Al grew up in many small towns from Nova Scotia to British Columbia and eventually settled in Ontario. He studied physics at the University of Waterloo, married Hette and settled down on the outskirts of Waterloo. He was a family man and made time to volunteer to tie skates at the Wellesley Arena with his daughter's WDPS class. He owned and operated a private computer consulting business for over 30 years. Al was an organizer and MC for the Insurance League at the local Granite Club. As a passionate golfer, Al had spent much of his retirement golfing or making golfing plans. He was known for his outgoing and animated personality, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Hette and Julia would like to thank all their friends and family that have reached out at this difficult time. The family will receive friends at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Tuesday from 4 till 7 p.m. A private family memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated. PLEASE NOTE: All those wishing to attend the visitation must show proof of double vaccination and identification to enter the funeral home. Masks must be worn, and contact tracing will take place.
