McKENZIE, Rose (nee Ditner)-Peacefully at Forest Heights LTC, Kitchener on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard McKenzie (1997). Loving mother of Joan (Francis Kittel) of New Hamburg, Joyce (Kenneth Anger) of Baden, Murray McKenzie (Sue) of Cambridge and her daughter in-law Pam McKenzie (Jim Hofstetter) of New Hamburg. Predeceased by her son Mike McKenzie (1996) and a son in infancy. Dear grandmother of Kelly Kittel (Andrew), Alison Kittel (Jenna), Sonya Kittel (Matt), Lindsay Reid (Tyler), Melissa Webster (Matt), Brett McKenzie, Beau McKenzie, her great-grandchildren Sophie, Eddison, Maddox, Olive and her sister Josephine Gooding of Toronto. Predeceased by her brothers Cletus, Joe, Linus (Pete) and sisters Johanna Dippel, Sister Mary Ditner S.S.N.D., Caroline Kernaghan, Clara Weber and Hilda Koebel. Father George Nowak C.R. officiating. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved nature, gardening, bird watching and forest trails.
