JANTZI, Irvin Went to be with his Lord peacefully on Friday January 21, 2022 at his residence. Irvin Jantzi of Wellesley was in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Ellen (2021) for 68 years. Dear father of Linda and her husband Edward Jantzi of Wellesley, Brian and his wife Cindy of Wellesley, and John and his wife Kim of Stratford. Dear grandfather of Jeremy Jantzi (Kendra), Cory Jantzi (Leanna), Janelle Bell (Antony), Tyler Jantzi (Kristy), Ben Jantzi (Meghan), Jordan Jantzi (Kaitlyn), Quinton Jantzi (Stephanie), Shelby Elliott (Matt), Avrey Brodhagen (Nick), and Dana Jantzi and great-grandfather of Reece, Alexa, Lucas, Hannah, Hayden and Oliver Jantzi, Azlynn, Jaxon and Finnick Bell, Rylie Jantzi, Kaiden, Mason and Ashton Jantzi, Madison and Lilah Elliott. Survived by his brother Ohmer (Esther) and his sister-in-law Esther (the late Allen) Nafziger. Predeceased by his parents John and Barbara Jantzi, his brother Joe (Vera) and his sister Ruth (Laverne) Jantzi. Also predeceased by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Clara Gerber (Val), Amanda Erb (Norman), Frieda Wagler (John Nafziger and Clayton Wagler) Elizabeth Schultz (Wilfred) and Vera Zehr (Mahlon). Visitation will be held at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday January 26 at 11 o’clock with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating. The funeral service will be streamed online and over the telephone. Due to Covid 19, social distancing rules will apply and masks must be worn.
