Alain Vienneau

October 21, 1976 - March 2, 2022

VIENNEAU, Alain-It is with great sadness the family of Alain Vienneau, loving husband of Michael Baird of Wellesley, Ontario wish to announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 at the age of 45. Born in Bathurst, New Brunswick he was the son of Murielle (Legacy) and Gilbert Vienneau. Besides his parents he is survived by his brother, Rolland Vienneau and sister Rachel Doucet. He also leaves behind a mother-in-law Katherine Baird and father in law Dennis Baird, a “practice” sister in law, Andrea Kaye, brother in law Luc Doucet, sister in law Krista Cook and brother in law Jeremy Cook. Nieces Kennedy, Caitlin, Kamrynn, Avery, Lauren and nephew Ryan. He also will be missed by many of his aunts, uncles, extended family and many loving friends. Truly the list is seemingly endless of how many people his life has touched. Alain grew up in Bathurst and ventured off to University of New Brunswick in 1994. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in Nursing. This is where Alain and Mike’s adventure began. They met in the latter part of his time at UNB. They started to build their life together in Fredericton and ventured off to the big city lights in 2000. Ontario was the place they called home. Landed in Hamilton and eventually settled in Wellesley, a small-town west of Kitchener. Alain had a zest for travel. He and Mike were always planning their next get away. It had to be hot and it had to be a beach destination. They shared multiple adventures to the Caribbean and could not wait to get back there to enjoy the hot sunny days in the sand. He had a passion for his career in nursing and always pushed himself to continue his education path while working at Kitchener’s Grand River hospital. He worked hard at school and was immensely proud of his recent Masters of Nursing designation. For those of us who knew Alain he was passionate, loving, crazy fun spirit and a firecracker. He will be fiercely missed. To honor Alain wishes, the family will schedule a celebration of life at a later date. Donations can be made to the Grand River Hospital Foundation, Kitchener.
